This high quality mix of grit and oyster shell is combined with balanced mineral and trace elements plus oilseeds. Grit is essential for poultry as it replaces the function of teeth, oyster shell provides an additional form of soluble calcium for strong eggshells. Added to this grit and oyster shell mix are minerals and trace elements – a prerequisite for smooth growth of bones, feathers and eggshell formation. The added oilseeds encourage the birds to eat the mix as well as providing extra shine on the feathers.
